La Promenade Cafe is a delightful oasis nestled in the heart of San Francisco's Outer Richmond neighborhood, and their Balboa Sandwich is an absolute standout. From the first bite, you can tell that this sandwich is crafted with care and attention to detail. The Balboa Sandwich is a masterpiece of flavor and texture. Picture this: tender slices of premium turkey layered with vegetables, melted cheese, and a delicious spread, all nestled between two slices of freshly baked bread. Every component works together harmoniously, creating a symphony of savory goodness that leaves your taste buds singing with delight. In addition to the exquisite food, the atmosphere at La Promenade is warm and inviting, with cozy seating areas perfect for enjoying a leisurely lunch or catching up with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and a recommendation if you're unsure what to order. Overall, La Promenade Cafe is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. Whether you're craving a delicious sandwich or simply looking for a charming spot to unwind, this cafe is sure to exceed your expectations. I can't wait to return and indulge in another Balboa Sandwich soon!

Quaint neighborhood cafe with a large back area. Always the kindest baristas. The espresso is mid but the ice teas, smoothies, sandwiches, and bagels are on point. And they have internet!!! Nice little spot to check email and catch a bite. Easy parking.

Wow! We intended to eat brunch today at Death Tree, but they were only serving coffee and soup by the time we arrived (our fault for not paying attention to service hours). See my separate review for the lemon bar I purchased. At La Prominade Cafe, we purchased amazing lavender lattes. OMG, I literally have NEVER had a coffee that deep and floral at the same time! I added zero sugar as the lavender was perfect. We tucked into the corner booth on the upper level where we could see action from the baristas, people watch, and have a private conversation. On the street level, there's a sofa, a couple of comfy chairs and several nice wooden tables and chairs. In the area behind the booths, there is a "library" like area, which has additional tables and comfy furnishings. A very diverse group of customers were talking, working on their portable devices, and enjoying all sorts of goodies from the cafe. This place has positive vibrations on MAX! This is my first visit, but I plan to return during my visit to San Fran in the fall....fold the page on the map!!!

Been here twice in 7 days and love this spot! Both times I came I got a breakfast croissant with bacon and egg whites. Also got a drink....(Unfinished review) UPDATE (2024): I've been here a few times since initially starting writing this review. I absolutely love this spot and the vibes. Sometimes I stay and enjoy my bfast, sometimes I take it to-go. Always all spot to sit. I also always get some latte and I believe I've gotten a white hot chocolate once as well. Can't wait to be back.
